£2,000 OFF WHEN YOU TRADE IN ANY VEHICLE OVER 8 YEARS OLD FROM THE UK'S LARGEST CAR MAKER

The UK Government Scrappage Scheme announced in the 2009 budget is still being finalized. However initial information from the Government states that the Scheme only allows qualification if the vehicle to be scrapped is over 10 years old. We at Crosby Park Nissan are prepared to offer the same saving of £2,000 off RRP when you trade in any vehicle that is between 8 and 10 years old and buy a New UK-Built Nissan.

I have a vehicle that is 8 - years old*:

To be eligible for the Nissan funded £2000 saving off RRP, the trade in vehicle must have been first registered in the UK between 01/08/99 and 31/07/01. There is no obligation to scrap these vehicles.
The keeper of the trade in vehicle should have a UK address shown on the V5C.
The keeper must have been the registered keeper of the trade in vehicle for at least 12 calendar months before the order date of a new vehicle.
The trade in vehicle must have a current MOT certificate at order date of the new vehicle.
The new vehicle purchased must be a New UK-Built Nissan (Micra, Micra C+C, NOTE, QASHQAI and QASHQAI+2 only).

I have a vehicle that is over 10 years old**:
The details of the UK Government scheme are still being finalised, however we have the following initial information.

To be eligible for the £2000 scrappage contribution (£1,000 from the UK Government, £1,000 from Nissan), the vehicle to be scrapped must have been first registered in the UK on or before 31/07/99.
The scrappage scheme is available from mid May 2009 until the UK Government funding is exhausted or until 31/03/2010, whichever milestone is reached first.
The keeper of the vehicle to be scrapped should have a UK address shown on the V5C.
The keeper must have been the registered keeper of the trade in car for at least 12 calendar months before the order date of a new vehicle, the vehicle can be currently on Statutory Off Road Notification (SORN).
The vehicle to be scrapped must have a current MOT certificate at order date of the new vehicle.
The new vehicle purchased must be a UK specification Nissan car or van up to 3.5 tonnes in weight and must be registered in the UK.
The new vehicle purchased must be registered in the UK on or after the launch date of the UK Government's scrappage scheme.
The registered keeper of the new vehicle must be the same as the keeper of the vehicle to be scrapped.
